Today's ultrasound showed "at least 7 measurable follicles"...according to the doctor we spoke with afterwards. The ultrasound tech during the actual ultrasound, however, said that I had about 10 on one side and 11 on the other. Of those, there's 3 or 4 on each side that are between 11-14 mm. While it's not exactly the results I'd been hoping for...it's definitely better than just 4 total!
Both the tech and the doctor seemed pleased...so I'll do my best not to fret.
I also asked the doctor about the timing of the next couple weeks. I didn't mention to him the uber-important wedding I'll be attending (come hell or high water) in two weeks...I figured it wouldn't do much good. Thankfully though, he thinks I'll only be on stims for 2-3 more days. If that's the case, then we'll potentially have an egg retrieval by the end of th week...making a 5day transfer fall sometime around Weds or Thurs of next week. Yup...by the skin of my teeth I'll be up and active for my BFF's wedding on the 20th. (Seriously kid...this better not be a trend! You're mother is a planner and this last minute, flying by the seat of our pants thing is just not working for me!)
Next monitoring appt is scheduled for 7:45 am on Tues morning. Hopefully I'll have wonderful news and I'll be able to trigger either Tues or Weds!!
