ER was today and it went very smoothly...so much so, that I ended up going to my little cousin's NCAA soccer tournament afterwards. Crazy? Maybe. But I felt great (just a little achy)...so we went.
We got to the clinic a little before 8:30am. I was called back around 8:45 - they had me change into a gown, got my blood pressure/temp, went over some paperwork...and then had me sit for a few minutes. At about 9am, the anesthesiologist came in to go over my medical history and put in my IV. (This was the part I was dreading...but all-in-all...not so bad!) By 9:16am (1min after our scheduled time) I walked into the operating room. Seriously, they have this down to a well oiled machine! They got me situated on the table and gave me some oxygen. They told me I would start to feel sleepy...they were right! I don't remember anything past 15secs later!!
I woke up feeling a bit groggy, but overall, couldn't tell I'd just had 19 eggs take outta me! Yup! 19 eggos! I was thrilled and so was the RE!
They'll be calling us tomorrow after 1pm with a fertilization update.
....back to vegging on the couch with crap tv :)
