I've been banned...

from peeing on any more sticks! haha

Even though I knew it was still early, I tested on Weds. Of course it was a BFN (big fat negative) but I was still in tears none the less. Shouldn't I be used to this by now? Apparently I'm a slow learner. So while I called Hubby (holding back the tears form him) I told him that he needed to take the remaining sticks and hide them...and not give them to me (no matter how hard I try to convince him otherwise) until this weekend. It's like I'm five again and I've had my favorite toy taken away. It's sick..really it is.

Several family members have asked (either bluntly or slowly over a lonnng conversation) what my gut is telling me. Honestly...I have no idea. Obviously I don't expect to have any crazy pregnancy symptoms yet; even if this miracle baby were to appear. However, every little cramp or twinge does make me wonder... "hmmm something going on in there?" Still crossing our fingers. Tuesday's beta bloodwork will tell us for sure.

On another note... student teaching has started. Oh, and have I mentioned that we've suddenly had a HUGE heat wave here? As in, the school temp hovers at/above 100 degrees by 1:00...and our kids don't get called to buses until about 4:00. That's three solid hours of ridiculous heat, where no human can function properly; students or teachers. Needless to say, not much has gotten accomplished in the last two days; short of attempting to get into a routine. Praying that Hurrican Earl will send some cooler weather our way...

  1. I hate it. That crushing feeling when you test, telling yourself that you know it won't be positive, but during those three minutes whilst you are waiting for the line(s) you can't help but get hopeful.

Best of luck with the bloodwork. Take care.

  2. It truly is the worst feeling ever. I really don't think anyone could possibly understand until they've experienced as many "negatives" as so many IF couples have. I know I didn't get it either... until now.
